I have the whole DVD of them. I think Noah digs the math ones. (Dig? I've gone back to the seventies on vocabulary as well. Make it stop!)
Hi Mindy- Loved the song and education about adjectives. However, it was a bit of a surprise to get a grammar lesson right after my immediate thought that you may have used poor grammar in your blog today-- you started a paragraph in the middle of it with Anyways, and I had just thought that I would have written Anyway..... Is there any way (no pun intended) to check which is correct?? Aunt Chris
I'm pretty sure that your way is correct. I really don't try to hard with the grammar in my blog posts, I figure it's more like talking than writing. But if you find it distracting I may have to re-think that.
I'm much better at remember song tunes than actual grammar rules, it's when the two collide that things work out best.
I loved Just a Bill, but "Lolly, lolly, lolly get your adverbs here" really sticks in my head. I bought them for the boys and they love them just as much as I do. In fact, when Gus is doing his math homework I've heard him singing the count by five's song. Regarding wrestling . . . Gus absolutely loved it until he was clocked in the mouth by an elbow. Oddly enough after that it was NO fun anymore.
